Nickelodeon renews Tweenies

Nickelodeon Spain has today signed a deal with BBC Worldwide to extend its licence for preschool hit The Tweenies until 2006.

Nickelodeon initially picked up the Tell-Tale Productions show in 2001. This renewal secures the Tweenies a window on Nickelodeon until August 2006. The Tweenies follows the adventures of Bella, Milo, Fizz and Jake and is aimed at three-year old viewers.

Nickelodeon has also bought the fourth series of S Club from BBCWW. Titled Viva S Club, the 13×25' series is the final outing for the now disbanded group S Club 7. The series has a Spanish backdrop as it was shot in Barcelona.

Nickelodeon's Spanish feed has also boosted its local animated content with the acquisition of La Brigada De Los Sepultureros and La Vaca Connie (Connie The Cow) from Neptuno Films, and D’Artacán Y Los Tres Mosqueperros from BRB.
